April was cold and dry. May has started out cold and wet. But despite that it's tulip time in England, so yesterday, when it was sunny for once, and a little warmer, we took ourselves off to Morton Hall Gardens near Redditch in Worcestershire to sample the tulip festival being run in conjunction with the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. There were bonuses in the shape of a few remaining Fritillaries and some early Spring leaves. My photographic skills are somewhat rusty and I was having trouble holding the camera steady, but there will be more tomorrow!
