Action at Chateau Impney Hill Climb yesterday
Chateau Impney is a hotel near Droitwich in Worcestershire. Photos tomorrow. Once in a while it stages a hill climb in its ample grounds, conveniently shaped like an amphitheatre, and all the petrol and cylinder heads for miles around come to see the spectacle, eat some burgers, and give the family a relaxed day out. If anything I'm a camera head, and more interested in the incongruities and the colour than the cars, but I had an enjoyable three hours watching the sights, snapping away and listening to a commentary from a world far away from mine.
