Outbuildings and cottages at Gawsworth Hall, Cheshire

Gawsworth Hall, Cheshire. Sir Robert Peel was Prime Minister at the time of maximum international power for Britain, and there are many statues of him in public places. This one, apparently, was moved here from Peel Park in Salford, Greater Manchester, in 1954, because of a historic connection between Peel and Gawsworth, of which I have been unable to find details. In these surroundings Peel's horizons seem peaceful, but

rather limited.
