The Wolverley Dragon Tree

A couple of miles north of Kidderminster you will find this canal bridge (did the painted bit predate the plaque?) and close by a footpath near it this carved tree which is in the tradition of magical mystery literature, I suppose. It's an interesting object to photograph, anyway, and added 10 minutes to our walk last Sunday.
