Grasp and Gasp
I was on the third level of an observation tower in the park, focusing down on a stationary object. My photo-caddy hubby =)) was looking in the opposite direction, enjoying the beautiful view of the inter-coastal. Suddenly, I hear him blurt, "Look! Look! Look up! He's coming right this way!" I really didn't want to make a hand-held, lens-swinging, 180 degree up-turn toward a moving target because I totally expected to end up with nothing but blue blurr! Yet, something in the tone of his voice made me feel it might be worth the try! Wanted to share it, because I think what it lacks in technical merit, it makes up for in drama! =))
If you do not expect the unexpected you will not find it, for it is not to be reached by search or trail. (Heraclitus)
