Many may believe the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for military purposes is a relatively recent development, but their operational use started at least 50 years ago with Remotely Piloted Vehciles (RPV), like this Ryan Lightning Bug, used to collect images and information over North Vietnam and China.
