#57 Barbie Portrait

So I really need some lighting and flash advice for portraits. I used Barbie as my model as you can see. She was very cooperative and never moved.

 

For this photo I used a 200W shop light placed over head and a 75W aimed at the background. Both bulbs are soft white with no diffusing.

 

Even using a 200W bulb I was still getting shadows on the background from my flash.

 

What can I do when the only flash I have is my camera's built-in flash?

 

Any advice would be appreciated.
