Full set of all Barrow-in-Furness Corporation decimal issue 'Ultimate' bus tickets.
6-roll Ultimate ticket machines were introduced in Barrow circa 1961 and eventually replaced by Wayfarers in December 1985.
Note the 2p Concessionary ticket, the introduction of which must have reduced the Ultimate machines' usefulness by about a sixth !
Note also two different print runs for 5p, 12p and 30p. I am not certain which of each value came first.
The 38p issue is the highest value Ultimate ticket I have ever seen ... if you know of a higher value I would love to know about it.
