FALL EQUINOX PLUS THREE DAYS
AAW Assignment - Sunrise/Sunset
By my calculations (not always accurate) the sun's rising should occur directly over Mt. Lassen on October 12, 2010 @ 7;29 AM.
The plan now is to return in a week or so and check the Sun's movement towards the south and Lincoln California. I will do some recalculations at that time and return when this important event actually occurs.
WIT:
1) Need to remember to bring a head lamp so I can find the mark I put on Diestelhorst Bridge's railing as to where to set up. Almost missed it again.
2) Set to aperture control, manual focus so all I had to do is keep pushing the remote shutter until old Sol appeared.
3) Great that the camera's EXIF data gives me the exact time of the photo. Should make calculations easier.
