Saint Patrick's Day parade, Cork, 2010 - Some traditional values

I guess this group were advocating a return to traditional religious values (Pray the Rosary). The Catholic Church in Ireland (and globally I guess) has been going through a particularly rough time of late.

I think that these marchers may be fighting an uphill battle........

Wednesday 17th March, being St. Patricks Day, the annual parade drew large crowds (estimated at 60,000) onto the streets of Cork.

I travelled in with my new (second-hand) Tamron 70-300 lens to capture some of the action.

The shots posted here are in chronological order of how they were taken in the parade.
