I found photographing Horseshoe Bent quite challenging. First of all you need to hike in for about 1/2 hour, get close to the edge where your path abruptly ends at a sheer 1000 feet drop, with no handrail. Here, the struggle comes with high contrast situation as you shoot against the sun, and on top of that..... you need a wide angle lens to get it all in one shot. We arrived late; nevertheless, you always need that shot, no matter how many of these you've seen on Flickr. You must have your own.
