We headed towards the famous Wave in Vermilion Cliffs, drove through Page, and then on Hwy 89 E, and finally, arrived at Paria Guest Ranch. It welcomed us with a beautiful sunset; a great place to stay in, I highly recommend it! We chose this place as it was very close to the Wave. That night we received a monsoon rain!! Yes!!! Monsoon rain! So, the next morning we were debating if there is an access to the trail head! Owner of Paria Guest Ranch was not aware of the road conditions. We visited Paria Station just to learn that the road is impassable! We had to do a detour through Zion NP to get to the Wire Pass Trailhead! It meant a 3.5 hour delayed start and hiking in extreme heat.
