Hello, My Prince Charming.
The past few weeks have been a good news/bad news kind of time for me. I've had a lot of good going on, such as swap packages arriving in the mail, my win of this set of fabrics (thanks, spicedcoffee!!), and the discovery of SteinMart.
But it's also been bad news: I have breast cancer, an aggressive form of it, and the next year or so is going to consist of me just trying to outlive the cancer and the treatments. Chemo, mastectomy, radiation therapy, and reconstruction are going to become my new routines. However, even with the bad news, there's the good. I'm here in Nashville, my husband works for Vandy, and I have access to the best medical care that I've ever had in my life. While I know we may still get some big bills, I also know that my husband's insurance is good because it's through Vanderbilt.
