Apartment building in Carleton Place, Ontario.
It might be haunted.
We had a nice chat with a tenant of the building who extolled the high ceilings and pleasant living space of his apartment but also happened to mention that going to the basement of the building was a little unnerving. No wonder, for according to a fascinating blog post by Linda Knight Seccaspina about the building's history, it had been used by a series of funeral directors in the distant past.
