Day 154-Today is Haruo Nakajima's birthday today and I always try to watch Gojira, which he was a suit actor in. He did it for almost all the movies until the late 70s and also suit acted in other Kaiju films from the 1960s. It was something to meet him in person and though he didnt speak English and had a translator with him, you could tell that he really enjoyed the accolades for his work. I mean, the guy almost died bringing this story to life. This movie is a work of art in so many ways and so very sad, so much so that I can barely make it to the end without crying....for Gojira, naturally.
