Downtown

An historic theater built in 1926 on what would become Route 66 in downtown Springfield, Missouri. Originally built with a pipe organ for silent film and a stage for Vaudeville, the theater hosted many world film premiers, including "Swing Your Lady" (1938) with Humphrey Bogart and "The Winning Team" (1952) with Ronald Regan. It was completely renovated in 2006.
