Out of Bounds
When we went to Birling Gap yesterday late afternoon to go for a walk and to maybe see a good sunset (it was too cloudy) we were surprised to see the steps to the beach closed off. We hadn't heard the news that a few hours earlier 9 people and a dog had been roped to safety when the cliff had collapsed around the steps! This is a view back to the coastguards' cottages as we climbed up onto the South Downs above Birling Gap.
