Crossing the Floods

My son and I went back to Fletching after the heavy rain of Thursday. The River Ouse had flooded the road so no traffic could get into the village that way but we were able to cross the floods ( a surprisingly long way) by carefully negotiating the narrow raised walkway. At times the water was level with the path.
