Stitched butterfly
I love all the technique articles posted on the Hero Arts website, so I thought I would give stitching a go - see tutorial here:-

I have to say this is a real challenge for me... I must be one of a few people in the world that can attempt to make a pair of trousers and find I have created two left legs!
The card blank was created using the Doily pattern on the Cricut machine(wild card cartridge), I then cut a smaller circle of lilac card and stamped the raindrop background and embossed with white powder. Edges were inked with dusty concord distress ink and then.......I dug out my old sewing machine and wizzed it round - if only the trousers had been that easy!
The heart winged butterflies were stamped onto vellum and coloured using shimmers angel wings paint.
