3/7 an enchanted evening - whipped
The whisps:
Wednesday night I looked up and saw the clouds, and I knew it was going to be a great sunset....so I stopped what I was doing, and for the next hour I stood in the parking lot and pointed the camera toward the show unfolding...first black silhouettes of trees framed white clouds on blue sky, then a rainbow sundog appeared to the south of the sun in a yellow sky, then a flock of birds flew across my view, then whisps of clouds reached up from the horizon, then a band of puffy cotton candy clouds went pink then gold, then a sliver of a new moon rose against the setting clouds and the sky turned purple. Amazing! Beautiful! A gift!
