Mission 4.1
Number: CT-1508/97
Rank: ARC Lieutenant Grade I
Nickname: Higgs
2nd Regiment of the 253rd Legion
///Log Entry\\\
Time: 30 minutes on mission clock
The hallways once busy with activity, clones on stretchers being ferried around by medics and surgeon droids, were now eerily empty. Every once in a while a body floated by, peppered with blaster marks. I manoeuvred my newly assigned platoon through the corridors to our objective, one of the many generators that would need to be activated to restore power to the bridge, restabilise the station and prevent it from falling in the gravity well of the star it was station next to. The EVA went smoothly, my men are trained for this sort of op and handled them selves just fine. All six of us got to the generator room in one piece, without encountering any resistance. The generator itself was located near a large bacta conduit running over the floor. It was almost too easy. We turned on the generator, and as other generators were restored, artificial gravity turned back on. And just as it did, from around the corner, we could hear the tell-tale sound of clankers inbound. I raised my rifle, shouted an order, and prepared for close quarters combat.
It took me long enough, but here it is. Mission 4.2 will go up momentarily. Oh, and gimme dem comments, I love to read them.
