Suggestive not Implicit
Emulation of Uta Barth. PRO 67.
WIT: At first I though this assignment was going to be easy and that I'd be done in 5 secs flat. Alas it was a lot bloody harder than I expected. 5 hours later I finally started producing the amount of blur through desired depth of field to create something which in my opinion is about as abstract as I've ever done.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to ruin the surprise as to what the actual subject is. However I will say that it is architectural and was shot outside.
Perhaps this might not be a close emulation of Uta Barth since her shots seem to have less in the foreground than the background whereas I suppose there's more in the foreground in my image than the background.
I think I might abandon these abstract shots in the future. I don't really get the purpose of creating them. I mean if for example I wanted this one to be sort of ethereal, couldn't I get the same impression/expression by taking a clearer in focus type shot of a landscape with wafting fog, or as Nadege34 did a while back morning mist on a lake?
I think Uta Barth's headlights of a passing car, and other shots at this site were my 'inspiration' blog.styleserver.de/2007/10/14/uta-barth-tanya-bonakdar/
