We had a few months to rest and reorganize, but now the Japanese are on the attack again. They want to move up the Yangtze River, they think that if they control the river we'll let them sail right to Chongqing. But while they make their main push towards Yichang, Gereral Zhang Zizhong himself is leading us on a flanking maneuver to encircle the invaders. But their numbers are just too great. Of the 2000 of us that crossed the Yangtze nine days ago, only a few hundred of us are left. Rumor has it even General Zhang is dead. But the Japanese are running low on supplies, we will only need to hold out a little longer before they tire out
