Waterlilies - a study

Feeling a little tired and stressed out, thought it would be good to go somewhere different, so we did. These waterlilies are growing in abundance in Blackroot Pool, also in Sutton Park, but a little further to go. It really is a very large park and a National Nature Reserve of 2,400 acres - easy to get lost in (for me, anyway) ! We didn't get lost, although we walked all round the lake, mostly through woodland, which took a long time. I don't think Marnie was all that interested in the waterlilies. She was so patient while I took photos.
