By the edge of a pond

By the edge of a pond, in a trance I stood

Wind's soft breath blew ripples

in a lily pad neighborhood

Sunbeams darted in and out of each swirl

Glistening, twinkling

to a silent rhythm they twirled

When a small voice beckoned

Its humble suggestion

'Paint me'

 

So I did ! Taken at Plantsbrook Nature Reserve in October, painted in Topaz Studio today, December 14th.
