A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall

The beach at Aberdyfi on a lovely day - but I've painted this, so it looks pretty threatening ! The beach was dotted with dead jelly fish, and I've no idea why. ... it put me in mind of this from Bob Dylan with the song he wrote and recorded when he was only 21 years old. We were all scared to death during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Third World War which would have burned us all alive didn't happen then - but many (including me) still believe that it could. If you're too young to remember those times - it was ghastly. Each day could've been our last.

One of the lines is "I've been out in front of a dozen dead oceans" - this is the Atlantic just breaking on the horizon.

Hope you like this painting ! Thanks, as always, for your kind coments, faves and views. Every one is read. I'm so sorry I can't keep up with you all, my Flickr friends, but I am trying !
