Azure window / Gozo / Malta

The Azure Window is Gozo’s iconic flat-topped natural rock arch over the sea at Dwejra. It can be seen from the shore or from a boat, but walking over it is no longer safe. The Azure Window stands very close to two other famous natural landmarks – the Inland Sea, and Dwejra Bay. The stunning geography of the area was created thousands of years ago when two limestone caves collapsed.
