The “Wheel of Vision” is an impressive structure placed on the Burgplatz next to both the Rhine promenade and the old town (Altstadt). Its forty two capsules offer spectacular views across the river, the town and during the dark evening hours, the Christmas markets and decorations.
The ride has now become a tradition that attracts locals and tourists alike. The view is forever changing; aircraft in descent or take off, distant woodlands, distant towns and the majestic curves of the meandering river Rhine. Enclosed, heated gondolas protect from the elements and glow beautifully against the the dark nighttime sky.
