seaside quilt

much going on here, applique, couching, hand and machine stitching..I am really trying to improve my picture taking of these works. My best efforts seem to result from being outside on a cloudy day, no flash, no direct lighting. This was under the porch, w/a tripod.

 

Again, a detail of a larger piece, adding dimention and color to the piece, and looking for a balance. The piece is called 'sea of tiberias' from series on the locations Christ and his followers visited..
