The men in charge of the Cubs & Diamondbacks - Theo Epstein & Tony La Russa. The D* Backs are La Russa's first stab at a front office role. He has made some dramatic moves this off-season in an effort to win a title in Arizona.

 

Theo Epstein joined the Cubs with a winning pedigree; he authored the Red Sox curse busting title team. Epstein has relied on a plan predicated on drafting youngsters and waiting to employ free agents until a title seemed in sight. Theo spent heavily this season.
