ARTEM ANISIMOV JOINS THE BLACKHAWKS
Anisimov is a rugged center who has played for the Rangers and the Blue Jackets in his NHL career. The Hawks quickly inked Amisimov to a contract extension. Stan Bowman, Hawks' GM, indicated the Blackhawks had been after Anisimov for some time. He does bring a solid game and will be used as the second line center in Chicago. He is also one of three Russian players joining the Blackhawks in 2015-16.
