The Chicago Blackhawks finally executed the long anticipated Patrick Sharp trade. The Hawks sent Sharp and young D-man, Stephen Johns to Dallas. The Stars reciprocated by sending Trevor Daley and F Ryan Garbutt to the Blackhawks. Daley is a right handed D-Man; his presence on the roster makes resigning Johnny Oduya all the more less likely. Sharp's scoring and leadership will be missed in Chicago. Dallas appears to have won this trade.
