RED WINGS DEFEAT BLACKHAWKS

The Red Wings won the shoot out to sweep the season series from Chicago. I what was a very spirited game, reminiscent of Playoff games between these two Original Six teams. The Blackhawks tied the game in the waning minutes and mounted several threats in OT, but fell in the shoot out to Detroit.
