So... yesterday I decided to make a 250 mile round trip to photograph sunset in The Peak District - I'm pleased to say it was worth it!
I played it safe and returned to a location which I know relatively well (in that I've actually been there once before!). However, this time I arrived early to give myself time to explore. Whilst wandering around I stumbled upon this famous rock formation which I've only previously seen in photographs. I recognised it straight away and knew I had to photograph it.
The image was composed to place the focus on the rocks, whilst also including elements of heather (in the extreme foreground) and the fabulous sky. I hope you like it.
