Day 5, October 4, 2013. The electrical meter reading when the solar system was turned on was 57827. 30 minutes after the solar system became operational, the meter reading had gone 3 Kwh backwards with a reading of 57824. This indicated that the solar system was generating more electricity than was being consumed in the house. Any electricity being generated by the solar system and not consumed by the house goes to the grid.
