Pat McGee Parkin

I've had a wonderful life. Before I married I worked at the Genealogical Society and Hill Field. After I got married I worked for the school district in Special Ed. and Resource. I served as PTA President at Washington Elementary. My church callings have been in Young Women's, Primary, Nursery, Secretary of the Sunday School (present time) Relief Society Compassionate Service (present time) and Relief Society Secretary at the Avalon Care Center (North Canyon Branch). I have loved every calling. We have been married for 41 wonderful years. Just ask Hal. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Bonnie and Pamela. Bonnie and Mont Beckstead live in Spanish Fork and have two boys and a girl, Brady (16), McLane (13) and Kate (7). Pamela and David Swenson live in Las Vegas and have five girls, McKaella (13), Jennifer (10), Kjirstin (8 ) and the twins Rachael and Rebekah (3). I've lived in Bountiful all my life but have done some traveling. We have been to Germany three times and had a great time traveling with our daughter (Pamela and family) to several countries. We love to go to Disney Land with our children and grandchildren. We've been to Disney Land in France and Disney World in Florida. By the end of the year we'll have been to Disney Land California four times just this year. I can't believe that we've been out of school for 50 years. I don't feel a day over 49 (ha ha). I'm looking forward to the reunion it will be nice to see everyone. My best friend would tell you I'm friendly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up. In school I was shy and still am until I get to know the person.
