Day 21: June 13
This was my outfit for doing a live pledge night at a local PBS station--I was one of the people up front on live TV asking viewers to call in and pledge.
--Rose pink crinkled cotton voile top with button front, 3/4 sleeves, floral embroidery, crochet trim, worn over black microfiber camisole. (Top: April Cornell; camisole: La Redoute)
--Black nylon netting ankle-length skirt with ruched waist and two front pleats. (Newport News)
--Black tights; black leather mary janes with split straps and low block heels. (Thrift store)
--Rectangular silver and rainbow moonstone pendant on twisted black satin cord; drop silver and rainbow moonstone earrings. (Jewels from Treasured Finds; cord from Fire Mountain Gems)
--Hair was put into braids while damp and left to dry to give it some wave and body, then brushed out, and the ends curled; the sides were pulled up and twisted slightly in a way that gave some heigh at the back, fastened with black clips.
--Face: Body Shop mattifying gel; Aromaleigh Illuminating Corrective Powder "Coquille Rose" for undereye circles; "Glissade" 3CL (see, I don't always wear the same foundation!); Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder "Translucent"; Pure Rouge "Plumwine" (medium plum with pink undertone) on cheeks; Pure Matte "Eros" (medium brown-mauve) and "Umber" (dark cool brown) for contouring.
--Eyes: Aromaleigh Carolina Summer "Cattelaya" (warm medium matte pink) on lids and "Bougainvillea" (matte dark brownish plum) in outer corners and crease; old Garden Botanika shade I don't recall the name of (neutral pink with satin finish) on browbones; Hard Candy "Trash" (matte dark gray with purple undertone) as liner; black mascara.
--Lips: matte pale pink pencil under Aromaleigh lipstick "Cameo" (deep berry pink with slightly warm undertone; discontinued), which was then topped with some of the Pure Rouge "Plumwine" to take the shine down a little and deepen the color.
