1543e hues of blues

Beautiful Glacier Bay, Alaska! Pristine waters, bits of ice scattered all around. These are portions of the glaciers that have calved off, and are floating by. There are bigger bergs as well, further into the bay.

Glacier Bay National Park is accessible only by water. There is a limit to 2 large cruise ships entering these waters per day, to help keep the waters calm and the environment as untouched as possible. The day we were there, a few smaller bays off the main one were closed to sailing, due to breeding of seals

See my "Alaska!" set for more shots of this beautiful area. More to come....
