seen in the park next to Niagara Falls. There were several of these guys rushing around and gathering acorns and such. This is actually a melanistic form of the Eastern Gray Squirrel.

The melanistic form, which is almost entirely black, is predominant in certain populations and in certain geographic areas, such as in large parts of southeastern Canada.
