2540exinP glowing luna

I love the beautiful lime green color of a luna moth. This one was found on a walking path in Holmes County OH

Adults have vestigial mouthparts and do not feed. Energy is from fat stores created while a caterpillar. They live for one week as winged adults appearing in late May or early June. ( iNaturalist info)
