2323e2 juvenile male ruby-throated hummingbird

I love watching these beauties dart around my yard and garden. They don't stop to pose very often.

 

I haven't seen any activity for a week or so... think they have all started their migration southward.

 

With this crop, you can see just the tip of his tongue sticking out. And just a hint of ruby at his throat.
