1574ex magnificent elk
This bull elk had been bedded down in the forest when we passed on a hiking trail. Upon our return, he was up and blocking the way! We walked through the woods up to a road to make our way, and then caught glimpses of him through the trees as he snacked on leaves from young trees.
The antler spread on this big guy was at least 5, if not 6 feet across.
