3100e2 Female Scarlet Tanager
I was treated to an assortment of songbirds all flying together on this late August day. There were at least 8 different kinds of birds, all flying around a group of trees. Unusual behavior, but so interesting to watch. This lasted for about 30 minutes, and then they were all gone again.
A lifer for me--- I've either never seen a female Scarlet Tanager, or I assumed ( without wearing glasses) that it was a goldfinch.
