5142ex P900 Honey Grevilla

One of the native plants growing in the Outback near Uluru. Honey Grevilleas are full of nectar, attracting both insects and honeyeater birds. You can see drops of the nectar glistening in the bright sunlight. ( zoom in to check it out for yourself). What a great source of moisture and food in such an arid land!

Check back to my album 2016 Australia, New Zealand and French Polynesia -- should be posting more ( almost) daily
