0644ex P900 South Rim elk
Another pic of the wildlife we found while hiking the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This elk was munching on plants just below the rim trail, and wasn't bothered by us passing by at all.
The elk were fairly tame in this area-- some visitors thought they could treat them like domestic animals.... hope they never encountered a bull elk defending his cows.........
