1284e2 dwarf dogwood of Alaska-- macro

In Alaska, dogwood grows low to the ground, and is considered a subshrub. It grows in forests and subalpine areas. We found them in sunny meadow areas.

 

Other than it's height, it's easy to know it's a dogwood! :)
