M16-StarQueen_Eon130T_168C#1_Aug-8-2023_Lextreme_NebulaSharper_StarsSat

Image of the Star Queen Nebula (NGC 6611 region surrounding M16 Eagle Nebula), about 5700 light years away. Taken night of Aug 8, 2023, with an Orion EON 130mm triplet with its Orion field flattener, using a QHY168C 14-bit color camera, and a 48mm diameter filters (OptoLong L-extreme for Halpha + O3), Televue Nebustar (O3 + Hbeta), Baader Halpha). This is a combination of many 300 sec exposures from my backyard Sunnyvale California location. Scope was mounted on a Losmandy G11 mount, and using a Celestron 80mm piggyback scope with ASI178MM video camera and PHD2 for autoguiding. Final image integration and denoising were done in Affinity Photo, after stacking in PixInSight. This image first had its stars removed by PixInSight, then added back the colorful stars.
