MPCC student nurses at Lincoln: Ten Mid-Plains Community College nursing students and nurse educator Marge Kouba recently attended the Nebraska Nurses Association Day with the Legislators in Lincoln. The students heard speakers talk about current issues in the Nebraska legislature that affect nurses and the nursing profession, how bills are passed in legislature, and what they can do as nurses to help make their legislators more aware of the needs of nurses in the state. They also had lunch and a time of discussion with some of the Nebraska senators.
