maybe 'elongated wave cloud' or 'jet stream' cloud formation~

I had to stop and take this pic one day when hubby and I were coming home from town. I am sure there's a scientific term for this formation. If anyone knows please let me know. It was heading East and it was stationary for about an hour, lol. Is that not wierd? Enlarge for details of it in the center :/
