N-G Gators 1
WP&Y DL535E's 110 and 106 leaving the RR Dock in Skagway, AK for a run up to White Pass Summit and back. Built by MLW and considered an export locomotive, they remind me of the Santa Fe DL600's I saw working in the 60's and 70's. While they don't have notches in those somewhat elongated noses, they do ride on Tri-mount trucks and oh yeah, they have that distinguishing ALCo sound and exhaust plume when notching out, albeit from a 6-cyl 251D vs a 16-cyl 251B under the long hood.
